On my break from work, I spend the whole time reading my camera's manual and on Google. I love taking pictures (I'm the family paparazzi) and I've been looking at so many fun pictures (Hello Courtney) lately, that I'm really eager to LEARN about some of the technical stuff to take better pictures :) I've been driving the boys crazy all afternoon...

And then I saw this on The Watermelon Tree:

The theme this week is pets, and while I'm not entering (or have any good enough to enter) I thought I would put some from today on mine!

I like to think he was trying to play hide and seek under the bed. The reality is he was probably just playing hide. forget the seek part.
I love this picture, look at those ears. I just need to edit those eyes... crrreepy


And last, the dead carcass of Chuy's favorite toy.. they last all of about two minutes around here, but he still loves to chew on the lifeless body. Who am I to judge?!

I realize that everybody doesn't love looking at picture after picture of my dogs, but they are the most willing participant at my house (mostly because they just lay around and act bored), and duh, they're the only kids I have!

Shogun's

I went to eat with Kayla for her mister's pre-birthday dinner...we went to Shoguns (yummm) and had some delicious steak and shrimp. I made the worst faux pas when I tried to order steamed rice instead of fried (all four of them almost broke their necks to gasp at me). Uh, never mind, I'll have the fried rice, please.

Well she did not tell me we were going to make faces. I'm quite put out by that.

Our cook was hispanic, not Asian. And he didn't yell, like the cook behind us.

I'm trying to remember why we were laughing so hard?
Don't let the smile fool you. I'm still so full I won't have to eat for weeks. (read: 10am tomorrow)(with his other girlfriend, Lolita)

Happy (early) Birthday Kalo. Note to you: I was the spelling bee champion in 3rd grade. Don't be surprised I can spell words like "exasperated." And I say "IDK" in real life situations, don't judge me.
