New Bed and Clean Closet :)

I finally got around to fixin up the doll bed that I got for Chuy at the flea market! A can of spray paint and a rummage through my mom's linen closet and we went from this:

I decided to just go with an old pillow and pillowcase so it could be washed more often!
Plus it's satiny and soft so all the ladies will love it ;)

Then it was time to go through Chuy's closet... he's putting on his "winter weight" and we can't even get some of them fastened! Fatty!s

I don't care what Eric says... Chuy LOVES wearing his clothes! When he sees me going over to his closet, he gets so super excited and follows me around until I put something on him!

fun finds

I popped into the flea market on my way from work today, and found this cute little "doll" bed that I'm going to make into a bed for Chuy!!! It's pink and missing a few boards, but for $12.... haha

I'm going to paint his name right there on the side and...

I think I'm going to paint it black with a leopard print cushion/pillow to lay on! To match:

the other find I got!! A fun little papasan chair!

So tonight starts my weekend... and it should be a fun one. Tomorrow I'm gonna go hang out with my mom tomorrow, hopefully use my "paint your own pottery" gift card that Eric gave me for Christmas LAST YEAR and then I'm going with friends to Tulsa to a haunted house. Saturday I'm sleeping in (!), going to a baby shower and then working at night.

Right now... pizza and a movie with my mister!

It's Fall Ya'll!

Life Update:

- Got a new set of bangs.

- Eric's mom is coming to stay with us for a week from Nevada on Oct 3rd.



- Only 3 more months of my court job and then I will be a full-time "Administrative Assistant." Woo-hoo- vacation days and sick hours included! :)

- Got these sweet new flats for $13 at Target!

(couldn't rotate...boo)

- Tried to win Taylor Swift tickets on the radio this morning... didn't.


- Been working with Sam on "down" and "roll"... slow and steady wins the race, haha!


- I've been making dinner at home a lot more lately, and I like to take pictures of it and text them to my mom. So she will believe me.

- IT'S FALL!!! Bring on the cardigans and tights and long sleeve shirts! YES :)

Hat Party!

My friend Brittany had a hat party on Monday at her new apartment and it was so much fun! We took lots of silly pictures and she had crazy hats set up all through the house so we could switch every hour or so... so much fun!
