Happy Halloween!!!

I just got off work and all anyone could talk about was the Halloween party a guy we work with is having tonight. I'm not going (because I don't drink, have to get up early for a work meeting, and really just didn't want to.) My old roommate lives in Fort Smith, but I didn't want to drive all the way down there and then turn right around. And my best friend is 4 hours away, so that was a big NO. But now I'm definatly wishing that I had just got a costume anyway because I'm sure I could have found something to get into!!!

I don't know what I would've been but here's a couple that I've found (and I reallly want this tutu- even for not Halloween days!)

Anyways- I'm about to go dye my hair and play with the dogs for a while- then bed... tomorrow I get to throw away the jack-o-lanterns and put up the fall wreath... yay :)

Swap-botted

I found this website called swap-bot.com, where you can sign up for different categories, and they randomly match you and you swap things.... I initially did it to find a "cupcake swap" to get more stuff for my kitchen- but I've found a ton of other things too :)

I've signed up for a Recipe Swap (I have already completed mine- made them with really cute scrapbook paper and tied it with ribbon- now just waiting for the deadline so I can get an address, haha), November Birthdays (Again, have already made some cute cupcake birthday cards), Pet Christmas (soso excited about this one), and a few others...

I love getting mail so I think this is going to be a lot of fun. We'll see!

Yesterday I went to my friend Kayla's and we made tacos and carved pumpkins with her boyfriend and another couple. We had a skull (mine), cat (hers), spider (Nathan), tombstone(Kale) and ghost(Brittney). It was so much fun and I'll put up a picture as soon as I steal one from her. (I'm still camera-less :( )

And tomorrow I'm picking up Kapriel from school and we are going to carve one :) I went over to her house last night and let her pick it out and she chose a cat!!

Shhh...

Here is a sneak peek of Eric's birthday present:

Since he will be officially out of his 20's this year- I wanted to get him something big!!! (Not to mention, it also benefits me, haha). But seriously, I'm proud of myself because I have been saving a certain amount every week and it's really adding up (I usually do everything sooo last minute!)

I've also been working on my scrapbook alot more lately- I always think I have such cute ideas, until I actually sit down to get started and feel totally stumped. But I have managed to grind out a few.
